Don't you know that you are bought with a price and that you are  not your own....

Buying is a term we all understand, it means the exchange of anything with its worthy value. However, the first thing about buying is the change of ownership. who owned you no longer has you because of the payment that was done by your new owner. simply a transfer of ownership. your former owner has nothing on you.

As this verse speaks to us,we are not just not the worlds but also not our very owns. we dont own us, we are bought. the very life that we have at this moment is paid for. And the good news is our new owner and lord is not unrighteoous, he is infact a good shepherd.

Therefore we find the words written don't be anxious several times in the bible, God wants to assure his people that he will lead them to to green pasture and would not let our souls lack. what a good lord we worship.

people of God today the Lord your God is still in control, he has bought you once and for all with the highest price, therefore He won't let you go just like that, your price was the blood of His son. And that price will sustain your life, as that blood will see to it that you win with the father.
