When someone is given a prophetic word that reveals what the person is called to accomplish in this life, sometimes we see the person getting frustrated, worried, or angered that the thing that was spoken upon his or her life hasn't taken place after a long time. Some might even find themselves walking in their calling yet not seeing the expected outcome and achievement. So, on many occasions, the person might find themselves doubting whether they were actually called of God to what they are doing.
What we have to remember is that the Lord is a sovereign God, and he is not bothered by whatever rises against him. So when he tells you of the thing you are going to do for him, he may not tell you of the challenges you’ll be facing, why? Because they are a non-factor to him. In other words, God is not worried about them; hence he doesn’t want you to worry about them as well. The Lord spoke of the importance of planning before taking action, giving the image of a man sitting down and planning before building a house (Luke 14:28-30). That is also true for God; the Bible says he gave us our calling before the foundation of the world and knew us before we were born, so when we are given the assignment by God, he has already planned ahead and paved the way for us to accomplish it.
That then means one thing: when we were made aware of the task assigned to us by the Lord, it was already a done deal as far as God was concerned. He already planned and plotted how it was going to be carried out; what is left is for us to yield to the divine wisdom and guidance given to us by the Holy Spirit to walk in the preordained steps to the finish line. Start seeing things from God’s perspective where all things are possible and refuse to look at things through your natural eyes. You are destined to succeed in your calling.
Then Moses went back to the Lord and protested, “Why have you brought all this trouble on your own people, Lord? Why did you send me? Ever since I came to Pharaoh as your spokesman, he has been even more brutal to your people. And you have done nothing to rescue them (Exodus 5:22-23, NLT).
